この夏、新潟で、日中韓の舞踊団による「新潟インターナショナルダンスフェスティバル」を開催！
それぞれの国で、同時代の作品創造を行う初のプロフェッショナルカンパニーとして創設された３団体が、りゅーとぴあに集います。
韓国からは大邱市立舞踊団（DCMDC）、中国からは城市当代舞踊団（CCDC）がいずれも初来日。
日本からはNoismの新たなプロジェクトカンパニーNoism0（ノイズムゼロ）が発足し、新作を含む4演目の上演と、日中韓各舞踊団を率いる芸術監督3名による文化鼎談を行います。

各舞踊団の芸術監督３名による鼎談を開催。それぞれの国での舞踊活動や理念を話し合うことで、その差異や共通性からアジアの劇場や舞踊団の未来について考えます。　＊日本語通訳有

大邱市立舞踊団芸術監督・振付家
ホン・スンヨプ　Sung Yop Hong
1982年、慶熙大学繊維工学学科在学中にモダンダンスを始める。93年に韓国初のプロ舞踊団“Dance Theater On”を設立し、韓国の現代舞踊界に新たな展望を切り開いた。99年ソウル国際舞踊祭・振付賞、01年韓仏文化賞を受賞。03年、05年のベストモダンダンサー（東亜日報）に選ばれる。10-13年韓国国立現代舞踊団の初代芸術監督を歴任。

城市当代舞踊団創立者・芸術監督
ウィリー・ツァオ　Willy Tsao
1979年に城市当代舞踊団（CCDC）を設立し、89年に芸術監督に就任。同時に、中国の三大ダンスカンパニーであるCCDC、広東モダンダンスカンパニー、そして北京雷動天下現代舞団をも率いている。中国でもっとも多作な振付家であり、哲学や歴史、京劇からチャイニーズロックにいたるまで、中国文化全般から広くインスピレーションを得て制作されるその作品は、国内外で上演され、コンテンポラリーダンスの発展に計り知れない貢献をしている。

Noism芸術監督・演出振付家
金森穣　Jo Kanamori
演出振付家、舞踊家。りゅーとぴあ 新潟市民芸術文化会館舞踊部門芸術監督、Noism芸術監督。17歳で単身渡欧、モーリス・ベジャール等に師事。イリ・キリアンにその才能を認められ20歳で演出振付家デビュー。10年間欧州の舞踊団で活躍後、帰国。2004年、日本初の劇場専属舞踊団Noismを立ち上げる。14年より新潟市文化創造アドバイザー。平成19年度芸術選奨文部科学大臣賞、平成20年度新潟日報文化賞ほか受賞歴多数。

“Agenda for Residential Dance Companies and the Future of Asia”
 

The artistic directors of the three dance companies will talk about the activities and philosophy of their companies respectively, and discuss on the differences and similarities among one another in order to reflect upon the future of the residential dance companies and theaters in Asia.
*Interpreting in Japanese provided.

Artistic Director, DCMDC
Sung Yop Hong
Artistic Director and Choreographer of the Daegu City Modern Dance Company. Began learning modern dance in 1982 while studying fabric engineering at Kyung Hee University. In 1993 Hong established South Korea’s first professional dance company called Dance Theater On, and opened a new perspective in the contemporary dance scene in the country. He won the Choreography Award at the Seoul International Dance Festival in 1999, the Korea France Culture Award in 2001, and was selected the Best Modern Dancer by the East Asia Daily newspaper in 2003 and 05. Hong was the first artistic director of the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company from 2010 to 13.
 

Artistic Director, CCDC
Willy Tsao
Willy Tsao established City Contemporary Dance Company (CCDC) in 1979 and has been Artistic Director since 1989. He currently leads three major dance companies in China: CCDC, Guangdong Modern Dance Company and BeijingDance/LDTX. As one of the most prolific Chinese choreographers, Tsao takes inspiration from the full breadth of Chinese culture including philosophy, history, opera and even Chinese rock music. His works have been performed internationally. Tsao’s invaluable achievement and contributions to the development of contemporary dance are widely recognised.
 

Artistic Director, Noism
Jo Kanamori
Theater Director, Choreographer, and the Artistic Director of RYUTOPIA Niigata City Performing Arts Center Dance Division and its residential dance company Noism. Moved to Europe by himself when he was 17 years old, and studied under Maurice Bejart. Approved of his talent by Jiri Kylian, Kanamori made his debut as theater director and choreographer at age 20. After ten years of working for several dance companies in Europe, he returned home and established Noism, Japan’s first residential dance company of a public art center in 2004. Kanamori has been the advisor in arts policy for the city of Niigata since 2014. He has won many awards including the prestigious Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sport, Science and Technology Award.
