Noism will perform again this year at the “Kurobe Theatre Spring 2025” in Kurobe City, Toyama Prefecture. “Vertigo – The Living and the Dead”, which premiered at last summer’s “SCOT Summer Season 2024” in Toga, will be performed on an open air amphitheatre.

The piece was inspired by the suspense novel “The Living and the Dead”, on which Hitchcock’s film “Vertigo” was based. How will this piece, which was created for the special Gassho-zukuri theatre (traditional style of Japanese architecture with a steep thatched roof), be transformed on the open air amphitheatre? There is no parking lot around the venue of Maezawa Garden. If you are coming by car, please use the special parking lot at Miyano Sports Park. On the day of the performance, a free shuttle bus runs between Hotel Aqua Kurobe – Shinkansen Station – special parking lot – Maezawa Garden House. [In case of rain]
The performance will be held even if it rains, but will be cancelled in case of stormy weather. In case of cancellation, a decision will be made by 12pm on the day of the performance. Please check the Kurobe Theatre HP and Kurobe Theatre Instagram.
 

[Other]
You will be required to walk from the Maezawa Garden House to the theatre’s outdoor stage. Please wear comfortable walking footwear and clothing. As the performance is outdoors, the temperature will drop at night. Please come prepared for the cold. The performance will take place rain or shine, but umbrellas are not permitted in the theatre. Depending on the weather on the day of the performance, we recommend that you bring a mackintosh, etc.
As it is difficult to direct visitors to the toilet during the performance, please use the toilet in the Garden House as far as possible before the performance.
*Please note that the venue is crowded just before the assembly time, so please arrive early.
Eating, drinking, video/photography and recording are not permitted in the auditorium.
