ロシア「チェーホフ国際演劇祭」からの招きを受け、2019年5月から7月にかけてモスクワで開催される2019プログラムのひとつとして、Noism劇的舞踊『カルメン』を上演することが決定しました！
チェーホフ国際演劇祭は、1992年にモスクワで始まったロシアを代表する国際フェスティバルです。
これまで、ピーター・ブルック、ピナ・バウシュ、アリアーヌ・ムヌーシュキン、ロバート・ウィルソン、鈴木忠志をはじめ、世界の第一線で活躍する演出家とその劇団・舞踊団が招聘されてきました。
Noismでは、2007年に『NINA』、2010年にはチェーホフ国際演劇祭との共同制作で『Nameless Poison』を上演しています。
14回目の開催となる今回、世界16カ国から22作品が招聘される中にNoismが選ばれ、2014年に初演した劇的舞踊シリーズ第2弾『カルメン』を上演します。

It is great pleasure to be able to announce that Noism will be invited and present “CARMEN” in the frames of the 14th edition of Chekhov International Theatre Festival in Moscow, Russia!
The 14th Chekhov Festival is scheduled to take place in Moscow from May to July 2019. The press-conference announcing the program of Chekhov Festival 2019 was held on 1 November 2018, and it was announced that Noism will be present “CARMEN” on 29-31 May, 2019 in Moscow.
Chekhov International Theatre Festival is the biggest theatre event on the territory of Eastern Europe, which takes place in Moscow in summer time. It runs for two month (from the middle of May till the middle of July) every second year since the 1992. During it’s history Chekhov Festival has presented performances by such world theatre leading artists as Declan Donnellan, Matthew Bourne, Pina Bausch, Peter Brook, Philippe Genty, Tadashi Suzuki, Lin Hwai-Min, Robert Sturua, Oliver Py and many others.
The productions of Noism choreographed by Jo Kanamori took part in Chekhov Festival previous editions and we are very pleased to take part in the festival once again.
