この夏、新潟で、日中韓の舞踊団による「新潟インターナショナルダンスフェスティバル」を開催！
それぞれの国で、同時代の作品創造を行う初のプロフェッショナルカンパニーとして創設された３団体が、りゅーとぴあに集います。
韓国からは大邱市立舞踊団（DCMDC）、中国からは城市当代舞踊団（CCDC）がいずれも初来日。
日本からはNoismの新たなプロジェクトカンパニーNoism0（ノイズムゼロ）が発足し、新作を含む4演目の上演と、日中韓各舞踊団を率いる芸術監督3名による文化鼎談を行います。

金森穣と井関佐和子によるプライベートユニットunit-Cyanが2012年に発表した『シアンの家』を基に、人類普遍のテーマ、永遠のテーマである愛と死を描く。本作ではその普遍的テーマをより一層際立たせるために、1人の俳優と2人の舞踊家をゲストに迎えて創作する。1人の俳優（奥野）と3人の舞踊家（山田／小㞍／金森）は男の愛の多面性を、人形・舞踊家・妻・母になれぬ女を演じる舞踊家（井関）は、女の愛の孤独を象徴する。4人の男と女の4役はシ（死）のメタファーとして作品に通底していく。果たして死んでいるのは男か女か。終わり無き始まりと、始まり無き終わりの輪廻の中で、永劫回帰を繰り返す男と女の魂は、夢幻の境を彷徨いながら、愛を求めて1人さすらう。

Noism0
りゅーとぴあ 新潟市民芸術文化会館を拠点に活動する日本初の劇場専属舞踊団Noismのプロジェクトカンパニー。Noismは、演出振付家・舞踊家の金森穣がりゅーとぴあ舞踊部門芸術監督に就任したことにより2004年に設立。プロフェッショナルカンパニーNoism1と研修生カンパニーNoism2で構成され、新潟から世界を見据えたカンパニー活動と、舞踊家たちの圧倒的な身体によって生み出される作品は、国内外で高い評価を得ている。15年、新たなプロジェクトカンパニーNoism0を立ち上げ。舞踊に限らず、演劇、音楽、美術等それぞれのジャンルで専門的経験を積んだ芸術家が集うプロジェクトとして公演を行う。

金森穣　Jo Kanamori
演出振付家、舞踊家。りゅーとぴあ 新潟市民芸術文化会館舞踊部門芸術監督、Noism芸術監督。17歳で単身渡欧、モーリス・ベジャール等に師事。イリ・キリアンにその才能を認められ20歳で演出振付家デビュー。10年間欧州の舞踊団で活躍後、帰国。2004年、日本初の劇場専属舞踊団Noismを立ち上げる。14年より新潟市文化創造アドバイザー。平成19年度芸術選奨文部科学大臣賞、平成20年度新潟日報文化賞ほか受賞歴多数。

The House of Spirit

Based on the performance piece entitled The House of Cyan (2012), created by “unit Cyan”, the private unit of Sawako Iseki and Jo Kanamori, The House of Spirit explores the universal theme of love and death. While the four men (one actor, played by Akihito Okuno and three dancers Yuki Yamada, Kenta Kojiri and Kanamori) represent the multifaceted love of men, the woman, played by Iseki, playing the four roles of a doll, a dancer, a wife, a woman who fails to become a mother, represents the solitude of the female love. As the story develops, the four men and the four women reveal their roles as a metaphor of the death throughout the piece. Is it the men or the woman who are dead? Amidst the endless reincarnation without a beginning or an end, their souls drift on between the dream and the illusion in a lonely pursuit of love.

Noism0
A project company within Noism, the residential dance company of RYUTOPIA Niigata City Performing Arts Center, Japan’s first residential dance company of a public art center. Noism was established in 2004 when the choreographer and dancer Jo Kanamori assumed the position of the artistic director of the dance division of RYUTOPIA. There are two companies within the company: the Noism1 with professional dancers and the Noism2 with apprentices. As a whole, the Niigata-based company has been enjoying international acclaim for its powerful performances and aspires to become a world-class dance company. In 2015, the new project company Noism0 has been formed to bring established artists from not only dance but also theater, music and visual arts together to develop a new line of works.

Jo Kanamori
Theater Director, Choreographer, and the Artistic Director of RYUTOPIA Niigata City Performing Arts Center Dance Division and its residential dance company Noism. Moved to Europe by himself when he was 17 years old, and studied under Maurice Bejart. Approved of his talent by Jiri Kylian, Kanamori made his debut as theater director and choreographer at age 20. After ten years of working for several dance companies in Europe, he returned home and established Noism, Japan’s first residential dance company of a public art center in 2004. Kanamori has been the advisor in arts policy for the city of Niigata since 2014. He has won many awards including the prestigious Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sport, Science and Technology Award.
