Revised version “The Rite of Spring”
A challenge for 21st century dance
Inspired by the short story “I want to be holding the sea” by Ango Sakaguchi (born in Niigata City), Jo Kanamori depicts a melancholic spiritual world. A dance poem woven by the piano music of Éric Satie, beloved by Ango.
Simultaneously presented is Jo Kanamori’s version of “The Rite of Spring”, delivered as a revised version by Noism0 + Noism1.
The fusion of visualising music and visualising drama. Noism’s vision for 21st century dance.
