CONDITIONING for WELLNESS
“Change your everyday life through extraordinary experiences”
In advance of International Women’s Day on March 8, NEUTRALWORKS. RECREATION CLUB will host a wellness event for women at the Goldwin Inc. 2F venue. This experiential event is designed to explore mental and physical health of women.
To live a wellness-oriented life in an urban environment, it is essential to free ourselves from fixed ideas and create time within our daily routines to connect with our true selves.
For this event, N/FRIENDS member Sawako Iseki, Artistic Director of International Activities Division of Noism Company Niigata and dancer of Noism0, will lead a workshop designed to help participants experience “awareness and release” from a dancer’s perspective.
In addition, as a proposal to “take care the body from within through food”, writer and chef Yoichiro Aso will provide an original bento, which participants will enjoy together after the workshop.
“Change your everyday life through extraordinary experiences” by Sawako Iseki
To maintain better conditioning, it is essential to first understand the senses that humans naturally possess. Under the theme of “extraordinary and ordinary”, this workshop invites participants to experience changes in their own physical and mental states by contrasting the dancer’s movements of “extraordinary: tension” with those of “ordinary: relaxation”.
“Take care of the body from within through food” by Yoichiro Aso
Meals are essential to take care both mind and body. For this event, we will focus on wholesome ingredients. The story from the producers’ dedication to the ingredients (“tension”) to the sense of happiness that comes from taking care of the body with healthy food (“relxation”) is packed in a single bento box, which participants will enjoy together after the workshop.
A mini talk show about food will also be held on the day. This is a rare opportunity to hear about the two speakers’ daily commitments to food.
