Noism2 Regular Performance vol.13

Noism2 is the apprentice company of Noism Company Niigata based at Ryutopia Niigata City Performing Arts Center. Noism2 presents its representative piece “The Fire Bird” in this regular performance! Stravinsky’s famous work “The Fire bird” has been uniquely performed by various choreographers and dance companies since the premiere of Diaghilev, the founder of “Ballets Russes”, which established ballet as a comprehensive art in the early 20th century. In 2011, Jo Kanamori choreographed it as an original work for Noism2 for the first time, and has been re-performed several times with a favorable reception.
This is the first performance in 6 years to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Diaghilev’s birth.
At the same time, a repertoire composed of Noism works choreographed by Jo Kanamori will also be performed.
