Open Class for citizens
2023.10→11

I believe that performing arts and theater culture are something that develop together with the audience. Through the open classes so far, I have felt that we may be able to connect dance culture more broadly and deeply by not only “seeing ↔ acting” in the theater, but also by communicating and practicing, participating and experiencing together. I hope it will be an opportunity to share Noism’s daily endeavors with you and gain various insights. We continue by improving little by little so that more people can enjoy it from here on out. We look forward to your participation.

Noism Ballet

―Noism’s own ballet class based on classical ballet

●Noism Ballet (Intermediate)
In addition to the traditional ballet en dehors (external rotation), Noism’s original ballet class incorporates en dedans (internal rotation) and parallel (vertical parallel) used in modern dance and Oriental dance. We create a body that can respond to the diverse movements and consciousness required in contemporary dance. It is a class with many more complicated combinations than beginners’ class. It is also recommended for those who want to challenge a little bit more.

Noism Repertoire

―Open Class to learn the depth and universal skills of dance

●Noism Repertoire (Intermediate)
We practice choreography selected from the Noism’s repertoires choreographed by Jo Kanamori. The way the dancers use their bodies, how they express themselves, the types of emotions, and the way they approach dance vary widely depending on the works. By dancing various choreographies, you will develop basic physical strength and it will lead to new possibilities of movement and expression. Compared to beginner’s class, we transfer the choreography faster, and we simply dance hard. One-time attendance is also welcome.
