Noism Talk Session RYUTOKAI

RYUTOKAI is a talk session event held with a variety of guests every time. It is an intellectually stimulating gathering where audience and experts who are active in various fields such as art, society, life, politics, thought, culture, management, etc., think together about modern society from their respective professional perspectives.
 
 
 
 

―First talk session between two women living as dancers

On this 25th occasion, Sawako Iseki, Noism Vice-Artistic Director will make her first appearance in “RYUTOKAI”! And at her request, we will welcome ballet dancer, Shoko Nakamura as a guest.

Shoko Nakamura  
Started her ballet training at Michiko Nomura Ballet studio. In 1996, she won the Scholarship Prize/TV audience favorite Award in the Lausanne International Ballet Competition. From 1996 to 1998, she studied at the John Cranko Ballet School in Stuttgart. In 1998, she enrolled in the Stuttgart Ballet as an apprentice. In 2000, she joined The Vienna State Opera. In 2001, she won the First Prize in the Luxembourg International Ballet Competition. In 2002, she was promoted to a soloist. In August 2006, she transferred to the Berlin State Ballet. In 2007, she was promoted to a principal dancer. Since 2013, she had been a principal dancer with the Hungarian National Ballet. Since September 2015, she joined K Ballet Company. In 2018, she received the 39th Excellence Award of Akiko Tachibana Award and in 2002 the 34th Chieko Hattori Award. In 2020, she became the honorary principal of K Ballet Company. She is currently active as a freelance dancer.

In order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 infection, please keep the following in mind.

・If you have symptoms such as fever that is more than 0.5 degrees higher than normal fever, cough, or sore throat, please refrain from visiting/entering the theater. In that case, please let us know. Tickets will be refunded. (Requests will be accepted until the curtain time on the performance day.)
・Please wear a mask, wash your hands, thoroughly disinfect your hands, and ensure social distancing.
・Please do not take the following actions: loud conversations between spectators, shouts to performers (shouts, bravo, etc.), gifts for performers (bouquet, letters, gifts, etc.), waiting for performers to come out, visiting to the dressing room.
・Buffets, cloakrooms, autograph sessions and after-talk will not be held for the time being.
Lending of blankets and other goods is also suspended.
・ Please fill in personal information such as address, name, emergency contact information, etc. on the questionnaire. In the unlikely event that an infection from a visitor is confirmed, please note that information will be provided to public institutions such as public health centers.
